As rockers and rockets use fancy names I do the same. My name is C. J. Himmelstrutz. Why? To honour the Swedish author, StureDahlström.

My own life started 1976, at 12 years of age. It was a saturday when I heard the intro of Thin Lizzy's Jailbreak on the radio. What a riff! What a sound! I was trapped immediately and this made me start playing guitar the same year.

In line with that I also started to play with electronics as the sound was—and still is—at least as important as the actual playing.

My first guitar amplifier was built in 1982 and here we are now, with all the way original designs, 100% handmade in Sweden.
